About the Job We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Senior Financial Analyst to join our client&aposs regional finance team, in particular serving Mandarin-speaking markets such as China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. In this key role, you&aposll oversee treasury operations, support regional financial consolidations, and assist with administrative and coordination tasks across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing finance operations across diverse regions. A strong knowledge of IFRS is essential. Job Responsibilities: Manage regional treasury tasks, including cash management and banking activities. Provide ad hoc support to country teams on treasury and finance-related issues. Assist the Regional Controller with data compilation and report standardization. Contribute to process improvements and align accounting treatments across regions. Prepare and post consolidation journal entries to ensure accurate group-level financial reporting. Support the onboarding of new projects or entities, ensuring financial coordination and alignment with group standards. Ensure all financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with IFRS standards. Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes for the region. Assist with the budget and reforecast data compilation. Job Requirements: Bachelor&aposs degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/ACCA certification is a plus. Strong knowledge of treasury operations and financial consolidations. Familiarity with IFRS and experience applying accounting standards across various entities. Excellent coordination, communication, and project onboarding skills. 3-5 years of experience in regional or group finance roles, preferably in a multinational environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP). Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and adapt to evolving regional requirements. It is a non-negotiable requirement to be able to read, speak and write in Mandarin for this role as you will be dealing primarily with native Mandarin-speaking markets What's on offer: Competitive annual performance-based bonus and monthly salary up to RM 6,000.
