foodpanda is part of the Delivery Hero Group, the world’s leading local delivery platform operating in 70+ countries worldwideJob DescriptionAbout The Role:We are looking for a talented Food Safety & Quality Manager who is able to support the expansive growth of our dark store business, pandamart. The role will directly influence the day-to-day decision making within our Food Safety & Quality Management across our Malaysia portfolio.This role will be based in Bangsar South (countrywide-mobility required) and will report to the Head of Dmart in the QCommerce Department.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Food Safety & Quality Management (FSQM) with our supplier partners in terms of quality policies and standards
  • Record, monitor and action on store operational performance against our food safety standards to improve key operational metrics including shrinkage and availability
  • Help strengthen FSQM policies and enable across all stores within Malaysia’s portfolio
  • Deliver training to suppliers, warehouse managers and senior leaders to create a strong knowledge centered on FSQM
  • Perform monthly audits at our stores and distribution centers
  • Monitor and own the customer-experience journey including actionable items on how to improve the incident rate
  • Work closely with every store-level manager with data-driven insights on how to improve and align their operational SOPs
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in Food Science or appropriate science discipline
  • Experience in Quality Assurance in Food, FMCG or E-commerce companies
  • Expertise in developing and implementing food safety & quality system, policies and standards
  • Candidates with GMP / HACCP, ISO22000 trained will be an added advantage
  • Focused on Food Safety & Quality improvement and ability to coach a large portfolio of stakeholders
  • Analytical mind and business acumen with ability to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends and to form conclusions based on findings.
  • Ability to manage complexity and be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
