Job description: Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve revenue targets across training, consulting, and research verticals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate training, leadership programs, team-building events, and consulting solutions. Build and manage a sales pipeline of potential clients and partners through cold calls, warm leads, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and industry networking. Client Relationship Management Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key corporate clients, HR decision-makers, L&D managers, and industry leaders. Conduct client needs assessments and present tailored training and consulting proposals aligned with business challenges and strategic goals. Ensure consistent follow-up and client satisfaction to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships. Proposal Development & Customization Work closely with the internal team of trainers, researchers, and designers to craft compelling, customized proposals and pitch decks. Coordinate end-to-end proposal submissions, including responding to RFPs and liaising with HRDCorp on grant-related documentation. Market Intelligence & Positioning Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine value propositions. Represent Client&aposs at industry events, expos, webinars, and client engagements to enhance brand visibility and network growth. Internal Collaboration & Reporting Collaborate with the CEO Office, Training Operations, and Marketing teams to align efforts and streamline lead conversion. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, and performance reports to management on a regular basis. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor&aposs degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resource Management, or a related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in training, consulting, education, or professional services. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and building enterprise-level client relationships. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset, solution-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with HRD Corp grants and L&D industry practices in Malaysia is a strong advantage. Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital outreach platforms.
