About the Role We're seeking a Finance Manager to take full ownership of our finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to step into a role with significant responsibility and visibility in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-qualified experience in financial management, reporting, and controls , with a professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Experience in fiduciary or fund accounting is a plus. Key Responsibilities Oversee all core accountancy work, including preparation and consolidation of financial statements for all group companies . Assist the CEO with fundraising activities and investor relations . Prepare financial forecasts and performance monitoring reports to support strategic decision-making. Track and report customer usage metrics to provide insights for business improvement. Produce monthly management reports and quarterly shareholder reports . Ensure timely bank reconciliations and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. Manage the annual audit process and oversee preparation of regulatory and tax filings. Prepare applications for local government grants and other funding opportunities. Handle client invoicing and collections to ensure prompt payments. Lead ad-hoc financial projects and process improvement initiatives as needed. What We&aposre Looking For Independent, proactive, and highly reliable. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance . Minimum 4 years of relevant experience , with at least 3 years in Financial Planning & Analysis . Strong project management, organisational, and communication skills . Commercially minded with the ability to think creatively and strategically . Experience working in a rapidly scaling business . Proven ability to build scalable processes and tools from scratch . Comfortable producing clear, practical documentation (e.g. accounting policies, SOPs). We currently have several open positions at SmartBite.
