The Finance Manager (Group Reporting & Consolidation) will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial consolidation processes and ensuring accurate reporting within the property industry. This position is ideal for professionals with strong accounting expertise and the ability to manage complex financial structures.Financial Reporting and Compliance
  • Ensuring Timely and Compliant Financial Reporting: This includes reviewing consolidated accounts for monthly submissions, preparing quarterly interim financial reports for Bursa Malaysia announcements, and administering new accounting standards. The focus is on adhering to Approved Accounting Standards and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
Financial Analysis and Management Support
  • Providing Accurate Financial Insights: Responsibilities involve preparing and reviewing explanatory notes and financial data for quarterly results, ensuring management receives accurate information for decision-making.
Group Accounting and Policy Adherence
  • Maintaining Consistency in Group Financials: This involves reviewing management accounts of subsidiaries to ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies and applicable Approved Accounting Standards, as well as handling financial account closing and budgeting for the Holding Company and specific investment holding companies.
Budgeting and Performance Monitoring
  • Orchestrating and Monitoring Group Financial Plans: This covers coordinating, reviewing, and compiling the annual group budget, and then subsequently monitoring operating business units' performance against these budgets to identify and address any deviations.
Audit Coordination and Strategic Review
  • Facilitating External Audits and Strategic Oversight: This includes liaising with auditors to complete annual audits on time and conducting management reviews of business unit performance, including feasibility studies, profit budgets, and cash flow, to identify irregularities and provide early warnings.
