Serving a diverse clientele that includes Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies, the firm manages over $5.4 billion in annual logistics spend, demonstrating its capability to navigate and enhance complex global logistics networks Job Summary: This is a broad ranging Procurement Role that conducts / executes day to day creation / implementation of rates, rate cards and routing guides, execute analytics and evaluation. This position will work to develop and standardize processes and workflows within and across regions. Essential Functions: (Primary) Responsible for escalation and troubleshooting of any rate, rate card and routing guide issue Responsible for support to the Logistical Team for calculations Responsible for the upload / download and communication of all procurement related materials in internal and external systems Responsible to divide the work with the Procurement Assistance, which can be based in other regions Work together on assigned project with the BNS Chicago Sourcing Team on behalf of the 4PL Control Tower Clients Work together with the Senior BA's and Regional Teams in communication and execution of related matters Supplies report on trends to external stakeholders Controls and manages updates to master data Supplies data and analysis for projects and sourcing events as required. Perform special reviews and projects as needed Work and act in Projects for costs savings, avoidance and reductions Job Requirements Job Specifications: Knowledge and Skills: Strong analytical capabilities Knowledge of MS Excel Strong knowledge of supply chain management Strong interpersonal skills Strong team player and excellent communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks in order to achieve objectives Project management skills Ability to perform in a multicultural matrix environment Ability to utilize and optimize IT resources to achieve process efficiencies Education: Bachelor's degree Minimum of 5 years of Logistical Experience Demonstration of business acumen required Knowledge and Skills Desirable but Not Essential Industry experience Sound understanding of a service organization International Business Experience Travel/Meeting Requirements 5% travel as required, maybe more during implementation periods Meetings and conference calls may be required outside of normal business hours to allow for global participation.
