- Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy tailored to the Malaysian market, aligned with global objectives.
- Gain deep insights into the market by analyzing global, regional, and local data, including consumer, trade, shopper, and competitor trends.
- Maintain a regionally relevant product range, including promotional SKUs.
- Recommend market pricing strategies based on global pricing guidance and benchmarks.
- Design and manage local promotional campaigns and in-store visibility programs.
- Customize and maximize central promotional tools to enhance brand presence and shopper engagement at retail.
- Oversee promotional budget allocation and ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Lead sponsorship and partnership initiatives to support conversion, where applicable.
- Collaborate with the sales team to manage distribution priorities and provide expert category insights during key customer negotiations.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with sales planning, marketing operations, shopper marketing, category management, and global marketing to ensure timely and flawless execution of all initiatives.
- A Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in brand management, marketing activation, or execution.
- Prior experience in consumer goods marketing or sales; exposure to the FMCG industry is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with customers, sales teams, external agencies, and market research providers.
- Skilled in data analysis and familiar with tools such as NielsenIQ, POS systems, or trade audit data.
- Proficient in English with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated strength in critical thinking, influencing, teamwork, customer orientation, and delivering results aligned with business objectives.
