Job description: Job Summary The Senior Site Engineer will lead and oversee site execution of civil, structural, and architectural works in a Data Centre construction project. This role is responsible for managing technical coordination, supervising site operations, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and resolving engineering challenges on-site. The position requires close coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely project delivery Key Responsibilities Attends to technical matters on site by developing solutions to problems with the application of engineering concepts, practices and techniques. Assist the Construction Manager in the planning of work and resources with particular reference to work program to ensure timely progress. Close co-ordination with supervisors, surveyors, laboratory personnel, foremen, and sub-contractors to ensure effective teamwork. Prepares the method statements and construction shop drawings for submission and to obtain timely approvals to ensure timely progress. Comply with the QMS through preparation of relevant site documentations sudh as RFI, site dairy, etc. Attend to site inspections of the work trades. Monitor daily site progress and report on quality, safety, and productivity issues. Coordinate across departments (e.g. M&E, QA/QC, Safety) and subcontractors to prevent clashes and ensure smooth workflow. To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company. Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management. Qualifications Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent field Skills & Abilities Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and leadership skills. Detail-oriented with excellent planning and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines. Collaborative, resourceful, and adaptable in a dynamic site environment. Strong knowledge of civil and structural works in high-specification projects such as data centres. Proven ability in managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors on-site. Solid understanding of construction sequencing, method statements, and regulatory requirements. Competence in technical documentation, site coordination, and design interpretation. Skilled in solving engineering and interface issues independently. Expected Minimum Years of Experience 5-8 years of experience. Preferably in infrastructure or mission-critical facility construction (e.g., data centres, hospitals, etc.). Show more Show less
