- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferable candidates with 1-3 years of experience with infrastructure technologies.
- Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in supporting both Microsoft and Linux servers, including installation and peripheral hardware configurations.
- Solid understanding of virtual and physical server design and architecture.
- Knowledge of backup system architecture and design.
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions.
- Understanding of DNS systems and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of SAN and networking concepts.
- Proficient in Powershell scripting.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies.
- Programming knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication skills, customer-focused, collaborative, and results-driven.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, remotely or on-site.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Experience developing technical documentation, including operational procedures and work instructions.
- Availability for on-call duty, including weekends and outside business hours as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server performance and throughput issues.
- Forecast and manage server capacity requirements, including memory, storage, and CPU.
- Provide support for Cloud Services.
- Manage and maintain global backup infrastructure.
- Support and optimize monitoring solutions.
- Assist with internal application support.
- Escalate complex incidents to Tier 3 teams.
- Drive process improvements through automation.
