Job Description :1. Procurement Planning:o Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with production schedules and company objectives.o Analyze material requirements based on forecasts and production demands.2. Supplier Management:o Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.o Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions to ensure favorable agreements.o Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.3. Cost Optimization:o Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends in raw materials.o Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.4. Quality Assurance:o Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all purchased items meet industry standards and company specifications.o Address and resolve any supplier quality issues promptly.5. Inventory Management:o Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.o Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient storage and delivery.6. Compliance and Documentation:o Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards in all purchasing activities.o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and supplier certifications.7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:o Work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to align procurement with operational goals.o Support new product development initiatives by sourcing required components and materials.Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.· 3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.· Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.· Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics is a plus.· Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.· Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key Competencies:· Strategic thinking and cost analysis.· Vendor management and contract negotiation.· Knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices.
