Job Description :
  • Spearhead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to boost the mall’s overall performance and strengthen its market presence.
  • Manage all operational functions of the mall to ensure consistency with corporate goals and meet customer satisfaction standards.
  • Guide the management team toward delivering operational excellence and meeting financial performance goals.
  • Build and maintain strong tenant relationships by addressing their needs and ensuring adherence to lease terms.
  • Cultivate relationships with key tenants and business owners to drive strategic partnerships and collaborative opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary link between the mall and key stakeholders, such as investors and community leaders.
  • Ensure outstanding customer experience by ensuring top-tier standards in service quality, safety, and overall mall ambiance.
  • Directly manage relationships with affluent clients, prominent figures, and senior government officials, delivering personalized service with discretion and professionalism to meet their expectations.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen customer loyalty and engagement, with a focus on VIP clientele.
  • Develop and manage the mall’s budget to ensure cost efficiency and drive overall profitability.
  • Track and evaluate financial performance by overseeing revenue growth, cost management, and profitability assessments.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial and operational reports to the regional director and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to all local laws and regulations, including safety, health, and environmental requirements.
  • Manage security operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for tenants, shoppers, and VIP clients.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential operational disruptions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the management team, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Offer support and provide direction to enhance professional growth and drive performance improvement.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Act as the mall’s representative in dealings with senior government officials and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and regulatory compliance.
  • ​Collaborate with community leaders and local organizations to strengthen the mall’s reputation and foster community engagement.
Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in retail or property management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in engaging affluent clients, high-profile figures, and senior government officials.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Possesses high emotional intelligence and cultural awareness in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skilled in designing and executing strategic initiatives and driving operational enhancements.
  • Able to work in flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
  • ​Knowledge of Bangsar and its market landscape is considered an added advantage.
