
IT Pre-Sales Engineer

- Lead technical discovery sessions to gather in-depth customer requirements.
- Conduct workshops, demos, and Proof of Concept (PoC) sessions.
- Address technical objections and concerns raised by customers.
- Work closely with account managers to build strong client relationships.
- Design customized IT solutions across networking, cloud, security, and enterprise IT.
- Create high-level and detailed solution architectures.
- Work with internal engineering and implementation teams to ensure solution feasibility.
- Support sales teams by providing in-depth technical expertise during pitches.
- Prepare compelling presentations and white papers on proposed solutions.
- Conduct competitor analysis to position solutions effectively.
- Take ownership of drafting detailed technical proposals for RFPs and RFIs.
- Work with procurement teams to align solutions with budget constraints.
- Provide technical input for pricing and licensing models.
- Work with vendor partners (Cisco, Palo Alto, Huawei, AWS, etc.) to ensure up-to- date solution offerings.
- Train junior pre-sales engineers and share best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, obtaining certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, CCNP, PCNSE, etc.\
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in a pre-sales, technical support, or solution engineering role.
- Strong understanding of [industry-specific technologies, e.g., cloud computing, networking, SaaS, cybersecurity, etc.].
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
