- Develop and expand a new customer base, including individual F&B outlets, coffee chains, restaurant chains, hotels, and dealer accounts.
- Follow up on clients' latest projects and identify business opportunities.
- Propose tailored solutions such as rental, rent-to-own, or outright purchase of dishwashing machines, chemicals, and related accessories (e.g. pre-rinse sets, flytraps, tissues).
- Prepare and manage quotations and proposals for equipment and consumables.
- Handle rental and rent-to-own contract processing, ensuring customer acknowledgment and deposit collection prior to installation.
- Schedule and attend site meetings with customers together with service engineers to ensure pre-installation requirements are met.
- Coordinate the submission of installation instruction forms to customers before job commencement.
- Offer maintenance contract renewals to customers nearing the end of rent-to-own periods.
- Deliver monthly invoices and statements to individual branches or headquarters and support cheque collection.
- Monitor customer payment status, initiate account holds for delayed payments beyond two months, and coordinate with Sales Support to send reminder letters.
- Decide on repossession actions for non-paying accounts after prolonged delinquency.
- Collect and compile competitor quotations for chemicals and machine rental/rent-to-own offerings.
- Test competitor chemicals to evaluate performance and provide feedback.
- Share market updates and customer insights internally to support strategic sales planning.
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 1-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in F&B, restaurant, or hotel sectors.
- Experience in handling key accounts and client relationship management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to propose technical products like dishwashers and cleaning solutions.
- Target-driven, proactive, and customer-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge is a plus.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
