Pharmacist cum Asst.Manager REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualification: Degree in Pharmacy Registered with the Pharmacy Board Malaysia (Lembaga Farmasi Malaysia) Minimum of 8 years' working experience as a Pharmacist Ability to lead, mentor and manage pharmacy staff Familiarity with healthcare laws, accreditation standards, and compliance protocols Good communication skills, resourceful, proactive, independent and responsible Hospital setting experience is an added advantage JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and supervise the pharmacy department and its team Advice medical, nursing and pharmacy staff on prescriptions and proper medication use Interpret, transcribe, prepare and dispense medications for inpatients and outpatients in accordance with departmental policies and procedures Prepare and maintain dispensary records; review prescriptions to ensure compliance with medical and legal standard Provide information and guidance on drug interactions, side effects, dosages and proper medication storage Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions Order and procure pharmaceutical and medical supplies; manage inventory and storage Maintain accurate records, including pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files and inventory logs.
