fund operations manager (professional services)

• Overseeing all aspects of integrating new funds, including establishing new bank/broker accounts, liaising with legal counsel, comprehending legal documentation, and overseeing data transition from previous administrators (for incoming funds exclusively).
• Serving as the primary point of contact for fund stakeholders, including administrators, auditors, legal advisors, regulatory bodies, brokers, and shareholders.
• Scrutinizing NAV calculations prepared by fund accountants to ensure precision.
• Proficiency in interpreting fund documents such as operating memoranda, subscription agreements, articles of association, administration agreements, etc.
• Reviewing financial statements at the end of each fiscal year.
• Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance and standards.
• Participating in strategic planning and evaluations aimed at enhancing processes and team efficiency.
• Supporting ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as needed.

• Demonstrated experience in overseeing operational functions and staff scheduling.
• Coordinating staff assignments to optimize productivity by evaluating business requirements and staff competencies and developmental needs.
• Supervising a team of professionals to achieve organizational and individual objectives.
• Handling personnel responsibilities for the team, including performance assessments, recruitment, and disciplinary actions.

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in fund operations/administration.
• Demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities.
• Profound expertise in the relevant field.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Paxus would be beneficial.
