Our client is seeking for a self-motivated and detailed-oriented Software Test Engineer in delivering exceptional user experience. You will work on showing your tricks as QA to ensure software quality on mobile platform. You will be prioritized for the role if you come with automation frameworks background. The positions will be an On-site opportunity at our Mercu 2, KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct integration, accessibility, ad-hoc, sanity, and full regression testing across various browsers, devices, and operating systems as part of release cycles Analyze complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system Understand and represent customer needs in product feedback discussions Customer centric mindset to come up with test scenarios that test much more than stated use cases. Participate in release management and post deployment testing Use bug tracking tools to identify, prioritize, and track defects across different platforms. Design test plans, write test cases, and review functional requirement documentation specific to each platform. Work closely with cross functional teams, i.e. web/Android/iOS developers, QAs, product management, and design team to understand platform-specific requirements and to ensure consistent quality standards across platforms. Ensure timely resolution of issues, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. KEY REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years (junior level) or 5 years (senior level) of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing web, Android and/or iOS applications. Proficient in testing methodologies for web, Android and/or iOS.
