Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This role is pivotal to our continued success, overseeing the full spectrum of our daily operations, from student acquisition to academic delivery. The Operations Manager will also serve as the Assistant to the Deputy Director, providing direct support and reporting to him. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, trilingual leader with a sharp business mind, a passion for education, and a proven track record of managing people, processes, and customer journeys within an academic setting. Responsibilities: Student Acquisition and Lifecycle Management: Drive student enrollment by managing the entire customer journey, from lead generation and initial inquiry to registration. Conduct post-registration monitoring of student progress towards examination dates. Human Resources and Teacher Management: Lead HR functions related to academic staff, including the hiring and onboarding of new teachers. Oversee teacher performance evaluations, professional development, and scheduling to ensure high-quality instruction. Operational Integrity and Accuracy: Guarantee the precision of all operational details. This includes ensuring the accuracy of class schedules, start and end times, student and teacher data, and all financial transactions recorded in the system. Stakeholder Interaction and Optimization: Proactively work to enhance and optimize interactions between students, teachers, parents, and administrative staff to foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive community. Liaison and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between the Deputy Director and branch managers, ensuring smooth communication and operational alignment. Academic Program Management: Oversee student academic progress, including monitoring, course management, and ensuring the successful delivery of our educational programs. Operational Oversight: Manage key operational activities, including finances, accounting, and marketing assistance, to ensure the center&aposs efficient functioning. Process and Protocol Development: Create, implement, and manage standardized protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and consistency. Financial Management: Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource management to ensure the center operates within budget and achieves its financial objectives. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic management initiatives to drive the growth and long-term success of the center. Customer Satisfaction: Champion a culture of excellent customer service, ensuring the satisfaction of students, parents, and all stakeholders. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operational activities and programs adhere to relevant regulations and quality standards. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize operational processes Required Qualifications: Bachelor&aposs degree in Business Administration, Education Management, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within the education sector. Demonstrated experience in HR functions, including hiring, performance management, and staff supervision. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and accounting. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a talent for fostering positive relationships. Proven ability to develop and implement SOPs and streamline processes with high attention to detail. Languages: Professional proficiency in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Chinese (Mandarin) is required to communicate effectively with our diverse community of students, parents, and staff. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with student recruitment, admissions, or managing the full student lifecycle. Experience working in an academic institution with international syllabuses (Cambridge, EdExcel, etc.). Familiarity with the educational landscape in Malaysia.
