LECTURER, PSYCHOLOGICAL SCIENCE

• Deliver high-quality and engaging teaching across undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and reflective teaching practices.
• Design, implement, and assess effective learning experiences that support diverse student needs and enhance student success.
• Supervise undergraduate research projects and provide academic mentorship to support students’ scholarly development.
• Contribute to curriculum development, pedagogical innovation, and the enhancement of teaching quality within the discipline.
• Actively participate in academic governance, faculty committees, and initiatives related to teaching and learning.
• Engage with external stakeholders and the wider community to promote educational outreach and the application of disciplinary knowledge in teaching contexts.

• Minimum a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline related to Psychology/Psychological Science/Behavioural Psychology/Applied Psychology/Clinical Psychology.
• Two (2) – Three (3) years of teaching experience at tertiary level and familiar with online teaching tools.
• Demonstrated high teaching skills and a reflective approach to teaching delivery, with an emerging record of contribution to scholarship in teaching.
• A strong understanding of pedagogical and contemporary educational practise relevant to the discipline
• A high level of English verbal and written communication.
• High level communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross cultural sensitivity.
• Contribution to an active role in academic service and proven evidence of effective leadership within the department/faculty as appropriate to the level of appointment.
