
Finance/Accounting Manager

– Oversee full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with MFRS, LHDN, SST, and other statutory requirements.
– Manage monthly and annual closings, producing accurate financial reports, management accounts, and variance analyses for production costs, raw material usage, and inventory valuation.
– Supervise general ledger activities, journal entries, A/P, A/R, WIP tracking, fixed assets, and costing reports to maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records.
– Handle cash flow planning, treasury functions, and banking operations to support daily operations and capital expenditure needs.
– Act as the main liaison for auditors, tax consultants, Bioeconomy Corp (BioNexus), customs, banks, and the company secretary.
– Ensure accurate payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) for both factory and HQ staff.
– Manage BioNexus reporting, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with grant conditions and performance KPIs.
– Support budgeting, cost control, and strategic financial planning for OEM projects and new product initiatives.
– Provide financial analysis to support pricing strategies, tender evaluations, and investment decisions.
– Oversee internal controls, day-to-day office administration, and compliance with company SOPs.Qualifications:– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or MIA membership is preferred.
– Minimum 6–8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a finance or accounting managerial role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
– Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), LHDN tax regulations, SST, and other local statutory requirements.
– Hands-on experience with full set of accounts, costing, inventory management, and WIP analysis in a production or factory environment.
– Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
– Familiarity with BioNexus status reporting, government grant compliance, and dealing with agencies like Bioeconomy Corp is an advantage.
– Strong understanding of cash flow planning, treasury management, and banking operations.
– Experience in payroll management, including statutory payments (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), is essential.
– Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government agencies.
