- Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-level Windows and Linux servers.
- Monitor server and network performance to ensure availability, performance, and reliability in line with SLAs.
- Manage and support virtualization platforms, primarily VMware vCenter and Huawei DCS.
- Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues with server hardware, operating systems, and networks, including coordination with third-party vendors.
- Plan and forecast server and network resource usage based on business needs and growth projections.
- Ensure compliance by closing out any audit-related issues regarding server and network infrastructure.
- Perform backup administration using tools such as Cohesity or Huawei Backup.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of high-availability and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
- Participate in DRC (Disaster Recovery Centre) exercises, including server, network, and backup verification.
- Maintain strong security posture by adhering to security best practices and policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server administration within enterprise environments.
- Working knowledge of VMware vCenter and/or Huawei DCS.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Huawei Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud.
- Experience with ManageEngine IT Operations suite is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in backup administration (Cohesity/Huawei preferred).
- Exposure to monitoring and performance tools such as SolarWinds or Dynatrace is a plus.
- Familiarity with EDR and DLP security tools is an advantage.
- Experience with Huawei and Aruba switches, routers, and wireless systems.
- Knowledge of firewalls including Palo Alto and FortiGate.
- Understanding of load balancers, particularly F5.
- Experience working with WAN providers like TMB and TIME.
- Ability to troubleshoot and administer VPN, LAN, and WAN environments.
- Strong documentation skills—able to create network/server diagrams, design documents, and SOPs.
- Fast learner, with the ability to understand and adapt to new technologies using documentation and online resources.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical teams.
