Treasury is the backbone for strong financial management of the Cycle & Carriage group of companies. The Treasury role is responsible for ensuring liquidity, efficient cash management and optimization of payment processes throughout the organization. Other tasks include: Monitoring liquidity, facility levels and utilizations. Negotiating with and maintaining banking relationships. Providing reporting and forecasting of treasury-related topics. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Payments, cash, funding and liquidity Manage, oversee and ensure that payments are processed in a timely fashion, in accordance with payment terms and internal controls. Review processes and propose efficiencies in systems or workflow to close control gaps where applicable. Work closely with Group Finance Operations to ensure processes are end to end in nature. Monitor and ensure that loans are drawndown and rolled over in the most cost-efficient manner. Ensure compliance with term sheets and underlying contractual conditions. Implement cash sweeping and cash investment policy where applicable. Ensure that cash is optimized and bank accounts rationalized. System implementation Implement and take ownership of e-payment process for Cycle & Carriage group of companies. Investigate end to end automation and integration into ERP, taking into account requirements from Group Finance Operations. Propose other treasury solutions as applicable, including Treasury Management System. Reporting and analysis Prepare monthly reporting on company's cash position and borrowings position to Finance Manager Operations. Ensure monthly closing completed within the deadline and assist in attending Finance Manager Operations queries, if any. Assist in weekly and long term cash forecasting. Analyze and propose solutions as required. Bank relationship management Update Bankers on quarterly business results, if required. Assist Bankers' request especially on Bankers Acceptance annual review request. JOB REQUIREMENTS : Possess Degree in Finance or equivalent qualification Possess min 2-3 years experience in Treasury operations (back or front office) knowledge Knowledge of bank borrowings facilities features is preferred Knowledge of accounting entry is mandatory Strong command of written and verbal English. Negotiation ability with external parties. Possesses existing local and regional banking relationships.
