· Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing, terms and conditions.· Manage purchasing processes from purchase orders creation, liaison with suppliers/freight forwarders/Customs, customs clearance, ensuring timely availability of all required materials.· Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.· Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.· Maintain and update Purchase database and supplier records.· Review and evaluate the performance of the suppliers regularly.· Ensure compliance with Group Purchase policies and procedures.· Participate in all ISO audits relating to purchasing documentation and processes.· Additional responsibilities as and when required by the management.RequirementsDegree in Business Administration / Supply Chain or any related field.· At least 3 years of experience in purchasing operations will be preferred.· Mandarin proficiency (written/spoken) is essential for liaising with China/Taiwan based suppliers.· Strong analytical, communication skills & attention to details.· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines.· Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
