Manage the Internal Control System (ICS) activities for dedicatedprocesses globally by defining and updating the risks, controls and testcases together with the global process owners and control performers.Assigned process focus will not be limited on finance & accountingprocesses only but also covers operational processes (e.g. R&D,manufacturing, HR, Sales,...) and the conversion of regulations andrules in the businesses processes and internal control system. In your new role you will:

Standardise controls:

Review existing controls globally

Support & RIC Team Lead and global process owner with the definition of global standard control set

Support RIC Team Lead with identification of improvement opportunities for ToE testing approach / automation by using standard tools (process mining, data analytics)

Define, update and setup risk, controls and test cases for global processes in scope.

Test of Design (ToD):

Perform / review independently regular test of design globally(according to testing scope and control criticality)

Monitor identified deficiencies and initiate and advise corrective actions.

Test of Operating Effectiveness (ToE):

Perform / review regular test of operating effectiveness of assigned controls globally (according to testing scope and ToE pool assignment)

Monitor identified deficiencies and initiate and advise corrective actions.

Full accountability for completeness and correctness of global ToE for assigned processes

Others:

Train and support process owners, peer tester and employees regarding all IC activities.

Guide and supervise the peer tester and align upcoming issues with the process owners and external auditors.

Perform and support special global projects on request.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist
Often leads projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience or may formally train junior staff
Works independently
