(Reports to Marketing Director) About Batik Boutique Batik Boutique is a purpose-driven fashion and lifestyle brand that empowers artisans and communities through sustainable design and ethical production. As we expand locally and globally, we are seeking a Creative Design Lead to elevate our visual storytelling, support campaign execution, and ensure brand consistency across all platforms. Role Overview The Creative Design Lead is responsible for executing high-quality visual content across Batik Boutique's brand and marketing efforts. This role works closely with the Marketing Director to bring creative strategies to life - leading the production of graphic, digital, and product-related assets that align with the brand's identity and goals. The role requires a detail-oriented, creative problem-solver with a strong design portfolio and the ability to manage multiple projects across channels. What You&aposll Do: Creative Execution & Brand Design Translate brand guidelines and campaign direction into compelling visual assets for digital, print, product, and packaging. Create on-brand designs for social media, email marketing (EDMs), website banners, print materials, lookbooks, catalogues, and in-store visuals. Contribute to seasonal and product campaign execution, ensuring high visual impact across all platforms. Marketing Support & Collaboration Work closely with the Marketing Director to develop and execute marketing campaigns with strong design alignment and creative appeal. Collaborate with internal teams (content, product, sales, retail) to deliver cohesive visuals that support both B2C and B2B goals. Assist in planning content calendars and ensuring visual consistency across Meta, Google, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, email, and website. Product & Packaging Design Support the creation of product-related designs, including apparel prints, textile layouts, and packaging concepts. Liaise with artisans and production teams to ensure the execution of design ideas in alignment with brand standards. Work with vendors and suppliers to deliver accurate production files for printing, packaging, and promotional materials. Team Contribution & Visual Quality Maintain the highest standards of design quality, brand consistency, and visual storytelling. Mentor junior designers or interns (if applicable), supporting skill development and alignment with design direction. Organize and manage creative assets, templates, and design files to ensure efficient workflow and access across teams. What We&aposre Looking For: 7-10 years of experience in graphic and brand design, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or retail sectors. Strong portfolio showcasing leadership in branding, campaign development, product design, graphic design, and social media. Proven ability to lead creative teams and deliver both brand storytelling and commercial results. Excellent planning, organization, and execution capabilities. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and familiarity with marketing tools (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Klaviyo/Omnisend, Shopify). Strategic thinker with an eye for design trends, market behavior, and customer engagement. Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
