Lead, HSE (Seri Manjung, Perak)

Job Description:Responsibilities

Develop and enforce safety rules and procedures following regulations and best practices.
Regularly check for workplace hazards and take preventive actions.
Ensure the company follows all safety laws and keep up with any changes.
Provide safety training to employees and promote a safety-focused culture.
Investigate any accidents that happened and make improvements to prevent future incidents.
Develop and manage emergency plans, including evacuation and first aid procedures.
Oversee the purchase of safety equipment and services and ensure vendors follow safety standards.
Manage safety measures for facilities, including emergency exits and hazard identification.
Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace and provide training and guidance to maintain a safe work environment.
Share safety information and updates with employees and address any safety concerns from employees and the public.
Coordinate with authorities for emergency management.
Generate reports on safety performance and compliance.

Requirements

Minimum five (5) years of experience in safety or a related field.
Intermediate skills in MS Office, preparing reports, presentation slides & business improvement plan/processes.
Practical experience in occupational health and safety roles, with a focus on hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety program implementation.
Possess a green book from DOSH and a green card from CIDB
