Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant and Bar Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and bar. Help recruit, train, and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and provide exceptional service. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals. Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, cleanliness, and safety. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet customer demand. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as liquor laws and regulations. Assist in creating and updating menus, promotions, and special events to attract and retain customers. Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant and bar areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to standards. Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue opportunities. Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to recommend improvements and innovations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant and Bar Manager. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience in restaurant and bar management, with a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and sanitation standards. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service is a plus.
