What will you do As a Senior Social Media Executive, you will play a pivotal role within ADA Malaysia, taking a lead on all aspects of social media, from content ideation and planning to community management, and social analytics. You will have a proven track record of expertise in social listening, social media management, and social media buying (both implementation and planning). This role demands a deep understanding and passion for the social media landscape, exceptional collaboration skills both within the organization and with external partners and clients, and leadership capabilities to mentor junior team members. Strategy: Develop and implement advanced social/digital communication strategies and execute comprehensive social media marketing plans and programs to support client objectives. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the social/creative team. Content Planning: Oversee the brand's local content calendar creation across all campaigns. Develop content strategies based on platform trends and market research. Lead creative briefing, copywriting, and localization ideation. Ensure client service excellence by sharing content calendars with local clients and obtaining feedback/approvals. Manage projects effectively, including campaigns and always-on social activities. Community/Platform Management: Take full ownership of managing clients' social platforms independently. Oversee and manage various social media accounts, monitor relevant online conversations, and respond appropriately. Provide regular feedback and insights from social media monitoring to refine social strategy. Adhere to social processes and guidelines set by clients and the internal team. Ensure all tools are functional and effective in relation to the client's social and community strategy. Insights/Reporting: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis on clients and competitors' social activities. Possess a broad understanding of reporting metrics to enhance social media management activities and content development. Regularly review clients' competitors to benchmark social activity and broaden understanding of the social landscape. Compile and analyze monthly reports to evaluate the efficacy of social media strategies and identify areas for improvement. What skills and experience you will need At least 3- 4 years ' experience in an agency, with a focus on Account Management, Social Media Content, or Community Management Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members. Proven experience managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant social media platforms for brands. Intellectual curiosity and a passion for innovation in the social media realm. Strong understanding of digital marketing, advertising concepts, and data/statistics. Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Proven track record of independently managing clients' social platforms. Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for graphic/visual design is a plus. Strong analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and provide actionable insights.
