Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Plant Manager located in Bukit Minyak, Penang, Malaysia. The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient production processes, managing staff, maintaining safety standards, optimizing resources, ensuring high quality standard and responsible for the P&L of the plant. The Plant Manager will also coordinate with various departments to achieve production goals, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and implement process improvements for better productivity and cost management. Planning and Execution Operations Management Manage and improve the operational management, manufacturing processes and operating policies to achieve highest standards of performance for Operation Department in support and achieve of organizations vision & mission and financial figures. Establish, drive and achieve the operation KPIs based on budget figures & business directions. Develop operations staffs through effective communication, positive staff motivation & engagement to achieve higher productivity, efficiency and quality standards. Coordinate, support and liaison with Corporate Services functions constantly in order to achieve efficiency and effective sales, financial and human resource planning and utilization. Implement cost-effective manufacturing processes to reduce the WIP scrapped and achieve high quality of products. Financial & Cost Management Working with Sales team to service / develop sales and new accounts / customers. Overall responsibility for the top line of the Company. Prepare and justify departmental budget; and control and monitor all expenses to budgeted figures. Manage, control and analyze the operation cost based on Profit and Loss; and pre-set cost reduction target to align with organization directive Ensure proper control & inventory management of raw materials, WIP, finished goods and EOL parts. Resource Management Ensure proper identification, effective utilize and adequate maintenance of machinery, equipment, M&E systems and other operations assets of company. Provide leadership support, supervise, monitor, develop and motivate direct and indirect staffs constantly to achieve high productivity and completed the tasks assigned on time. Promote relationship with strategic vendors and suppliers to acquire new technologies in order to improve manufacturing process and reduce manufacturing cost. Risk & Succession Management Identify, analyze, develop and propose the appropriate measures and strategy to mitigate the business risk Ensure that adequate resources and accurate/timely information is disseminate to management in order to contain and manage the excursion and business risk. Recruit right employees, develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities, and prepare for advancement or promotion into ever more challenging roles in your organization. Qualifications At least 10 year's working experience in operations management or related field Business Insights, Market Research, and Market Analysis skills Strong Analytical Skills and Marketing Analytics knowledge Excellent leadership and team management abilities Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in plant management or industrial operations or contract manufacturing Bachelor&aposs degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field Ability to work on-site in Bukit Minyak, Penang Show more Show less
