- Working hours: Standard Kuala Lumpur office hours are applicable, Monday - Friday. We have a global business, so the employee will have the opportunity to interact with others throughout the world via electronic means. Off-hour meetings with other regions are sometimes necessary but occur rarely.

- The Maintenance Master Data Engineer is a central resource to support the data requirements for the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module. For the supported sites/businesses, this individual collects Maintenance Master data relating to Plant Functional Locations and Equipment.
- Ensure that data content conforms to current data standards, policies and procedures. Details are typically defined in Plant/Project documentation.
- Classify common plant equipment using guidelines and consult Regional Master Data leads or Global Engineering Team for data verification. Perform data validation and correct any errors or discrepancies.
- Support data collection for SAP Releases, acquisitions and major projects. Compile and format data, supporting the obligations of the business go-live. Ensure data collection is completed in a timely manner.
- Collects detailed data and characteristics for Process Safety devices (Relief Valves, Critical Safety Circuits, Mechanical Integrity equipment) in accordance with defined standards and procedures.
- Offer suggestions for system and work process improvements. Report data or functionality gaps that need to be addressed by others.
- Make decisions pertaining to data collection, interpretation of drawings and files, and proper selection of codes and labels for Master Data. Understand the importance of data accuracy and the impact to Plant operation, safety and regulatory compliance.
- The incumbent must be able to work effectively with others in the work group and peers in other functional areas. Occasional meeting attendance is required, i.e., New Plant Kickoff Meetings.
- To perform tag mapping and building modelling for Equipment Condition Monitoring (ECM) program to evaluate equipment health.
