We seek an Associate / Senior Associate to be an integral part of our consulting team. The ideal candidate will be able to work on projects across multiple industries. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality sustainability consultancy and reporting services to our local and regional clients. Requirements: A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in sustainability, engineering, sciences or a related field is preferred. Master&aposs and PhD holders are also encouraged to apply. Preferably 1 - 2 years / 3 - 4 years of working experience for associates / senior associates in a sustainability-related field. Proven understanding of carbon accounting and ESG requirements for reporting purposes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and proven ability to write engaging business cases with data. Familiar with and has experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel - being able to utilise formulas. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in engaging at the senior executive level. Responsibilities of an Associate: Gather and analyze data related to environmental, social, and economic sustainability metrics. Assist in developing sustainability reports, including those compliant with frameworks like Bursa CSMs, GRI, ESRS , and SASB. Use various tools and methodologies to assess sustainability performance and identify areas for improvement. Conduct research on sustainability best practices, emerging trends, regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated with the latest developments in sustainability, including technologies and frameworks. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and internal stakeholders under the direction of the project manager. Provide support for various sustainability projects, including audits, assessments, and strategy development. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in sustainability. Engage with industry groups and networks to stay informed about advancements in the field. Support client meetings, presentations, and workshops. Assist in addressing client inquiries and providing insights based on analysis. In addition to the above, a Senior Associate will be expected to: Serve as project manager to see end-to-end delivery of a project. Provide technical guidance to the project team and ensure project tasks are executed efficiently. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop relevant training and workshops to enhance the working team's knowledge and skills in sustainability. Engage with clients to understand their ongoing and future sustainability needs and objectives, in addition to establishing long-term client relationships. Proactively identify opportunities to add value to projects, thereby enhancing client satisfaction.
