- Assist the Chef de Partie in daily mise-en-place, food preparation, and service activities
- Follow recipes and portion specifications to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods
- Complete daily checklists for mise-en-place and food storage
- Assist in inventory management by participating in stock rotation and requisition processes
- Attend daily meetings with the Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff as required
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with HACCP regulations
- Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment through teamwork and communication
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Additional language skills, particularly local languages, are a plus
