- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Candidates with experience in selling medical products will be highly desirable. Entry levels are also welcome.
- Experience in handling the clinic, hospital, and pharmacy business will be an added advantage.
- Strong science background, with a particular emphasis on understanding and communicating the technical details of products.
- Strong salesmanship with a good track record in sales performance.
- Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills are needed to engage various specialties relevant to the organisation.
- A deep understanding of the medical industry, market trends, and technologies are added advantage.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret market data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Promote and sell the company's products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. Organise and execute sales presentations to medical groups and healthcare facilities.
- The product specialist will be responsible for the promotion of a range of Rapid Diagnostic Products, Clinical Diagnostic Reagents, Point-of-Care Testing systems, etc.
- Responsible for new account development in Hospitals, Clinical Laboratories, Medical Clinics, etc.
- Managing of existing key account customers and generating additional revenues to ensure business growth
- Build & maintain excellent relationship with vendors, key account customers and clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and ensure they have the latest information on products.
- Regularly attend company meetings, product launches, and presentations
- Stay informed about the activities of healthcare professionals and institutions in their area.
- Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products.
- Develop strategies to increase the company's market share in their territory.
- Maintain detailed records of all contacts and meetings, and create reports for submission to the company's management.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest clinical data and research, and discuss these findings with healthcare professionals during presentations.
- Work with team members to plan, coordinate, and implement marketing strategies.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the company.
