Assistant Manager - Receiving

- Oversee the receiving process, including unloading deliveries, verifying quantities and accuracy against purchase orders, inspecting goods, managing discrepancies, and logging incoming materials.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials according to safety regulations and product specifications.
- Identify and address receiving bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Analyse inventory data to forecast demand, plan material requirements, and optimize stock levels to minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports related to receiving and inventory management.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to efficiently manage storage space and inventory movement.
- Manage a team of receiving personnel, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- To coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders (Purchasing, End user and etc.)
- To perform other duties as and when directed by Superior.
- Monitor compliance of all policies and procedure relating to Receiving & Company
- To comply and conform all Quality Management System (QMS), OSHA and food safety requirement as set by Management.
- Excellent communication skill and interpersonal skills
- Speak fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Experience in using SAP ERP and SAP Ariba will be added advantage
- Working experience in Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Excellent mathematical and computational abilities.

- Able to work under tight deadlines or pressure
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to based at Resorts World Genting, Pahang
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Supply Chain Management/ Logistics or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in warehousing or inventory management role
