
Assistant Manager, Social Compliance

- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments, internal reviews, and operational audits to ensure adherence to legal and operational compliance requirements.
- Advise internal management on the implementation of compliance programs and develop risk management strategies.
- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or address violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
- Contribute to the creation, implementation, and revision of policies, strategies, guidelines, manuals, tools, and procedures to ensure lawful and ethical company operations.
- Periodically evaluate and revise procedures and reports to promptly identify and address hidden risks or non-compliance issues.
- Assist in reviewing and updating company policies and strategies to integrate environmental considerations for sustainable and ethical business practices.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all compliance activities for safekeeping and progress tracking.
- Provide leadership in developing and implementing best practices and innovative approaches in ethical business practices, sustainability, and risk management.
- Stay informed on regulatory developments both within and outside the company, and on evolving best practices in compliance control.
- Ensure all employees are knowledgeable about practices and regulations, and address any concerns promptly.
- Oversee the preparation of management responses to audits, independent evaluations, and compliance review mechanisms.
- Hold authority for leave approval within the team.
- Report directly to the Senior Manager, HR.
- Degree in Business Studies, Law, Economics, Management, or a related field; Certification in Regulatory Compliance is a plus.
- 4-6 years of experience in an audit, social compliance, or legal environment, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
