- Oversee the preparation and monitoring of SEB Group monthly cash flow forecast, including historical data and ad-hoc analysis, to ensure sufficient funds for financial obligations and working capital.
- Identify funding requirements and recommend fund arrangements based on the cash flow forecasts. Review/ensure accuracy of fund arrangement forms and memos prepared by the team to support placement decisions.
- Diversify and optimize deposit placements to maximize returns on the company's funds.
- Administer and manage sukuk, as well as local and international financing facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements and covenants.
- Review and validate dashboards and analytical tools used to support short-term deposit and investment decision making.
- Manage other corporate finance functions including intercompany loans, equity injections, financing requests, dividend distributions, division risk assessment and project advisory related to interest during construction for financial feasibility decision-making.
- Oversee SEB Group's monthly financial closing, focusing on the timely record of loan-related journal entries to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial reporting. Ensure all loan and borrowing transactions, including intercompany loans, are recorded and updated to maintain complete and accurate schedules.
- Manage RAM Annual credit rating reviews and liaise with rating agency to ensure credit ratings are maintained.
- Assist in executing corporate exercises such as capital market transactions, debt issuances, equity-related activities, and corporate restructuring.
- Ensure the accuracy of the forecasted finance income and expense for the annual Original Budget (OB) and Year End Estimate (YEE) budget submission.
- Prepare Board Paper and solvency tests to support dividend distribution decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and digitalization projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including bankers, asset management companies, investors, solicitors, rating agencies and trustees.
- To perform all tasks in line with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the Information Security Management System (ISMS) roles and responsibilities procedure.
- To perform all tasks in line with the Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines.
- To perform all tasks in line with the Procurement Policies and Procedures (PPP), Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and SEB Group Manual of Authority (MOA).
- Continuous improvement and development in competencies to adapt to rapidly changing business environment.
- Minimum Degree in Finance or relevant qualification, with at least 8-10 years of relevant working experience, including proven exposure in a managerial or leadership capacity. The position to be offered will commensurate with the successful candidate's level of experience.
- Experience in treasury cash management / capital market funding exercise / corporate advisory work would be an advantage.
- Bachelor' Degree in Finance/Accounting/Banking/Commerce/Economics or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications, if any, in MICPA/ACCA/MIA/CIMA/CPA/CMSRL or equivalent would be an added advantage.
