- Analyze, collect and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing performance, along with providing recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual financial performance and targets, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Offer insights into potential opportunities and risks to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Conduct research on potential investment opportunities, including sensitivity and scenario analysis, to evaluate the impact of the investment, market conditions, and risk factors on the organization's financial performance.
- Assess investment opportunities, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Develop and review financial models, including but not limited to synergy, valuation, funding, and transaction structure models, to support investment decision-making.
- Propose and execute funding requirements based on the funding model, overseeing the entire funding process from start to finish.
- Work closely with lenders, investors, and other stakeholders to secure financing.
- Oversee stakeholder engagement by coordinating activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
- Manage strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring smooth transition into operational implementation.
- Lead the due diligence process and serve as the primary point of contact for external parties.
- Oversee deal structuring, valuation, negotiation, and due diligence, driving the process through to completion.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic planning process of the Group, including setting objectives, defining strategic goals, initiating business initiatives, and monitoring progress.
- Provide guidance on strategic projects related to corporate affairs.
- Carry out ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Investment, or other related fields.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, or any other equivalent are preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
- A minimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and focus on achieving results.
- Self-reliant and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
