We are looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Head of Product Planning to steer the product roadmap of a globally renowned automotive brand. You will be at the forefront of aligning product vision with business goals-using deep market insights, customer feedback, and cross-functional collaboration to influence the future of mobility.As Head of Product Planning, you will lead strategic planning across the product lifecycle-from conception to end-of-life. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and implement long-term product strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Analyze market trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies to guide product direction
  • Collaborate with global and local cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, aftersales, R&D) to ensure alignment
  • Lead model planning, feature mix, and volume forecasts based on customer insights and market demand
  • Manage product lifecycle activities including launch planning, updates, and phase-outs
  • Monitor product performance and generate data-driven reports to influence decision-making
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable improvements in product strategy
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing product planning team

  • Proven experience in product planning or product strategy within the automotive industry
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate market data into business strategy
  • Familiarity with both global product portfolios and local market dynamics
  • A strategic thinker who is also hands-on in execution
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable working with internal and principal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Experience in managing model mix planning, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management
  • A degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus
