In your new role you will:
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and building management systems in real time
- Respond promptly to security breaches, unauthorized access, or emergency situations by notifying the appropriate authorities or on-site security
- Record and document all incidents and activities in the control center logbook/system
- Coordinate with security guards, facilities teams, and external emergency services during incidents
- Track and monitor visitor access, contractor movements, and staff badge activity
- Conduct daily system checks to ensure all security equipment is fully operational
- Report and escalate any anomalies, equipment failures, or suspicious activity
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Minimum SPM / Diploma / Degree in Security Management, IT, or a related field (depending on role level)
- 1-3 years in a security control room, command center, SOC, or surveillance operations
- Certifications (preferred, not always required):
- Security license / SKKM / Certified Security Professional
