Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives. They collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to gather requirements, assess the impact of changes, and ensure successful implementation of projects. Senior BA also provides guidance and mentorship to junior BA and contribute to strategic planning initiatives. About the Role A Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Responsibilities Business Partnership role Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices, recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities, and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities. Business Solution Collaborate closely with Technology Teams to develop a fit for purpose solution in achieving business demand and objectives. Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process. Business Analyst Completely and accurately capture the business requirements especially the processing and operation needs when preparing Business Requirement Specifications (BRS). Challenge and/or propose improvement to the process or requirements during the Requirement Gathering exercise. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business / IT or relevant fields. More than 10 years proven experience in business requirement gathering, user acceptance testing and user management. Experience with GI P&C and/or Health insurance industry especially knowledge in business operation, analysis and solutioning will be an additional advantage. The incumbent must have around more than 3 years working experience involved with supporting or working in insurance industry with the focus on digital initiatives. Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, regulations and industry best practice. Candidates with exposure in UI/UX design, digital channel optimisation, omni-channel integration, digital marketing integration experience will be an additional advantage. Candidate with consultancy background with experience in business analysis, leading solution/application development will be an additional advantage. Required Skills Knowledge on Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and Visio, and Project. Certification in business analysis or related fields (e.g. IIBA, PMI-PBA) will be an added advantage. Preferred Skills Experience with GI P&C and/or Health insurance industry.
