- Familiarity with ISO standards and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze data and utilize statistical analysis techniques to identify trends and anomalies.
- Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibit problem-solving skills to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in the context of plastic resin manufacturing, is advantageous.
- Assist in conducting quality control checks on incoming raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis of samples, including but not limited to, density, viscosity, and melt flow index, accurately recording results and promptly reporting any deviations or anomalies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions, ensuring traceability and facilitating data analysis.
- Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and non-conforming products, gathering data, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the preparation for external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's quality management system, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve quality issues, providing technical support and guidance to ensure consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Utilize statistical analysis tools and techniques to monitor process performance, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce variability.
