
Group Finance Accountant

- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making
- Manage the group's accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and the leadership team, to provide financial guidance and support
- Ensure the group's adherence to all relevant financial regulations and statutory requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function
- Supervise and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.)
- Must be a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in a similar group finance role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a finance team
- Proficient in the use of financial software and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
