- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
- Prior experience working with Singapore-based companies is a strong advantage.
- Solid knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems).
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) will be a plus.
- Manage full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations (corporate tax, SST, withholding tax, etc.) and coordinate with tax agents or auditors when required.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for management review.
- Handle audit processes, liaising with external auditors and ensuring proper documentation.
- Monitor cash flow, expense tracking, and support cost-control initiatives.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings in a timely manner.
