- Location: Based at project site in Shah Alam, Selangor.
This is a utility based contractor operating for over two decades with works focused in Selangor and KL. The company is a main contractor specializing in water treatment plants and pump stations and civil supply and construction of reservoir and pump house.
Currently there is a urgent need for C&S Project Site Engineer to work on civil water infrastructure projects in and around Selangor. In this connection, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Site Engineer to manage and be involved in all aspects of construction works on their water projects and manage full projects where the main element is construction.
About the job
This role will be responsible for managing and leading a team in delivering a series of water engineering projects, water treatment plants and stations on time and to a high standards and within budget.
The role requires a thorough understanding of the delivery of water industry project, from design, construction, commissioning and plans.
As the Project Site Engineer, you will need to have background in water, must be Civil & Structural Engineering qualification and have a good knowledge of the construction of pipelines and structures.
The role will involve:
·Liaise with head office management in relation to general site progress and labor requirements.
·Monitor operations and resolve any problems that arise at site.
·Schedule and supervise sub-contractors, equipment operators and site workers.
The Candidate
Candidates who are seeking for this position must have some years of project management experience.
Applicants must possess tertiary qualification Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Ideally have worked on civil water infrastructure project experience with project exposure on pipe line,water and wastewater operations.
Previous civil engineering experience is highly desirable.
He must possess a good communication skills, especially in English and willing to manage project at site.
Possess the right work attitude and a team player.
