Manage the Sales department / branch to ensure that planned sales targets are achieved. Responsible for the Profit and Loss of the Branch.
  • Implement sales & marketing programs set by the management to achieve desired sales objectives and goals.
  • Propose and implement branch / sales activities or programme to attract customers into the showroom.
  • Oversee and guide sales executive / supervisor in implementing sales and marketing program set by the management to achieve desired objective and goals.
  • Lead the sales team and sales advisors in carrying out the management's plans and goals.
  • Adhere strictly to company accounting policies and work with the Finance Manager on financial matters.
  • Build good relationships with fleet owners, government personnel, and head office staff.
  • Delegate tasks to subordinates and provide training programs for staff development.
  • Keep the manager informed about branch performance and progress.
  • Maximize vehicle profit by obtaining commission from vehicle sales.
  • Recruit sub-dealers and supporters to increase unit sales.
  • Improve sales personnel product knowledge.
  • Negotiate with vehicle body builders for better pricing.
  • Conduct regular meetings with sales and service personnel.
  • Prepare monthly reports and orders.
  • Arrange vehicle displays in shopping complexes.
  • Participate in vehicle tenders.
  • Stay updated on competitors and the local market.
  • Manage overall branch operations and handle additional tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and comply with safety policies and legal requirements.
  • Execute any tasks instructed by management and comply with environmental policies and sustainability initiatives.
Leadership position|Well known conglomerate
  • Minimum Degree in relevant field of studies.
  • Able to communicate at all levels and able to speak the local dialects.
  • Proactive and results and target driven.
  • Strong knowledge of the product, industry and its related services.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as Sales Manager or equivalent in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership qualities, positive attitude and to be able to lead and motivate the team.
