
Business Analyst (Banking/Insurance Domain)

- Engage with stakeholders to document, and validate business requirements.
- Create BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and User Stories.
- Perform requirement analysis, identify process gaps, and propose improvement solutions.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure alignment of deliverables.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, test cases, and validating results.
- Maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are addressed.
- Analyze and interpret data using Excel, SQL, or other reporting tools to support decision-making.
- Assist in change management and ensure smooth adoption of new processes/systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects.
- Strong knowledge of requirement gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, surveys).
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and Visio (or similar diagramming tools).
- Basic SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in [Domain — e.g., Banking, Insurance].
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, or reporting systems.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA, or Scrum Master (advantage).
