Job Title: Head of Section - Compensation & Benefits Department: Rewards & Admin (R&A) Location: Shah Alam Seksyen 26 Reports To: Head of R&A Department Supervises: Payroll & Compensation Team Job Purpose Lead and manage payroll and compensation & benefits functions to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processes, effective coordination with outsourced workforce providers, and continuous improvement through digitalization. Ensure competitive, compliant rewards practices aligned with Malaysian statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end payroll for all employees, including blue-collar and outsourced workers, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely payment. Manage compensation structures, salary reviews, and benefits to maintain market competitiveness and internal equity. Administer rewards programs such as bonuses, increments, incentives, and benefits, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness. Ensure full statutory compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, and other labour regulations; coordinate payroll audits. Liaise with outsourced workforce agencies, verifying payroll, claims, billing, and statutory obligations. Lead and develop the payroll and C&B team, driving performance, accuracy, and service excellence. Drive process improvement and digitalization to enhance efficiency and HR data integrity. Prepare accurate payroll, cost, and compensation reports to support budgeting and workforce planning. Key Requirements Bachelor's Degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Minimum 10 years HR experience with at least 5 years in payroll or C&B management (or 8+ years specializing in C&B), preferably in manufacturing or multi-site operations. Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory payroll requirements. Proficient in HRMS/payroll systems (e.g., RYMNET) with strong analytical and numerical skills.
