This position supports the Branch Manager and Sales team primarily in driving sales growth, expanding business opportunities, and strengthening client relationships. The role also involves managing the financial and administrative aspects of sales, including collections and documentation, to facilitate seamless business operations. The job location is based in Kemaman, Terengganu, Malaysia, with required travel to client sites and other locations as needed to foster business development efforts. Job Descriptions: Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including meeting potential clients and exploring upcoming projects in East Malaysia to expand the company&aposs market footprint. Support the Area Manager and Sales team in preparing and delivering compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referral opportunities. Assist in developing strategies for market penetration and competitive positioning within the industry. Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify new business avenues and emerging trends. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and generate leads. Collaborate with the sales team to build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and projects. Support in the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic business plans. Account and Financial Administration: Manage accounts receivable processes, including the collection of payments via cheques, bank transfers, calls, and emails, ensuring timely receipts aligned with SOA. Prepare, verify, and dispatch invoices with supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Maintain and update the Malaysia client list, billing summaries, and collection reports in the Sales Share Point daily. Liaise with the finance department to expedite collections and ensure smooth cash flow. Manage vendor registration and coordination with QHSE for relevant safety and compliance documentation. Customer and Product Support: Oversee certification management for all CCUs in Malaysia, ensuring timely access and distribution of certificates to clients and internal teams. Assist with quotation preparations and respond promptly to client inquiries in the absence of the Sales Manager. Ensure all client communication regarding documentation, certifications, and project updates is handled professionally. Reporting & Coordination: Generate and send weekly sales reports to management, highlighting key developments and pipeline status. Collaborate with the Area Manager and Sales Manager to prepare presentation materials for bi-monthly sales meetings. Maintain an organized record system for all sales, billing, and project documentation in Sales Share Point. Job Requirements: 1 - 2 years experience in Sales with at least STPM/ Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration, or a related field. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role requires proactive engagement and continuous efforts to expand our business reach in East Malaysia. Flexibility to travel domestically as necessary to meet with clients, support sales activities, and attend industry events.
