This role, reporting to the Head of Solutions Design, involves providing customer-facing expertise in solution design and leading the project and Solutions Design team internally. The position requires collaboration with the Business Development Manager to understand detailed customer needs and create an initial solution blueprint. You will serve as the liaison between Solution Design Engineers, Business Development Managers, other CEVA departments, and customers to support the Business Development Contract Logistics Sales process in the Asia Pacific region. Key responsibilities of the Solutions Design Professional/Manager includes: Managing projects to develop solutions tailored to customer requirements for Contract Logistics in the MY Cluster. Taking full responsibility for the outcomes of the solution design process, including design, costing, risk mitigation, proposal preparation, and sign-off. Defining and agreeing on the proposal&aposs scope and timeline with clients. Conducting business requirement workshops and coordinating with operations and IT on the proposed solutions. Leading Solution Design Engineers in the comprehensive development of solutions using PRIMO. Preparing business proposals, including internal approvals and customer documentation. Collaborating with the Business Development Manager/Key Account Manager on proposal development issues and escalating to the steering committee as needed. Identifying and mitigating operational and commercial risks in proposals. Ensuring all submissions comply with CEVA business rules. Organizing internal sign-off meetings. Presenting solutions to clients and internal senior management. Developing the skills and capabilities of Solutions Design Engineers. Supporting the Business Development team by participating in sales calls to promote CEVA's contract logistics capabilities and influence customer decision-making. Working with operations managers to identify growth opportunities by leveraging core capabilities. Qualifications, experience, and skills required for this role include: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of work experience. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. 3-7 years of experience in logistics and supply chain, consulting, or manufacturing, with a strong understanding of warehousing and transportation.
