Partnership Executive - Affiliates

About the Role MerchantSpring is looking for a focused and hands-on Affiliate Program Associate to help grow one of our most reliable acquisition channels - affiliate partnerships. In this role, you'll take full ownership of managing and improving our affiliate program, helping bring it to the next stage of growth. You'll work cross-functionally across Partnerships, Marketing, and Sales to drive engagement, grow our referral network, and turn our affiliate program into a consistent revenue driver. MerchantSpring is headquartered in Melbourne Australia, and offers a fantastic opportunity to work with clients and partners all over the world. Key Responsibilities Own the day-to-day operations of the affiliate program (via FirstPromoter) Identify, recruit, and onboard new affiliates across agencies, creators, and tech platforms Strengthen the affiliate program's value proposition as a key amplifier of referrals , driving consistent month-on-month growth Create and maintain onboarding materials, playbooks, and FAQ content Nurture and grow relationships with existing and new affiliates, ensuring affiliates are equipped to succeed Collaborate with Marketing on co-branded content, and with Sales on tracking referral outcomes Track key KPIs (sign-ups, conversions, revenue) and maintain a clean affiliate dashboard Scale program automation, segmentation, and introduce performance-based reward tiers Monitor for affiliate misuse and ensure program compliance KPIs Successfully onboard 10 new affiliates each month Drive 10-15 qualified referral introductions per month Maintain clean and accurate affiliate tracking and reporting What You Bring 1-2 years of experience in affiliate, partnerships, or community-focused roles Strong relationship management and communication skills Background in SaaS, eCommerce, or startup environments strongly preferred Proficiency in HubSpot and familiarity with affiliate platforms like FirstPromoter or PartnerStack Comfortable using AI tools Strong relationship management and communication skills Self-starter with the ability to manage your own workflow Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, dynamic environment Why Join MerchantSpring Take full ownership of a core growth channel See direct impact on leads, revenue, and partner engagement Work closely with company founders and senior leaders Be part of a fast-growing SaaS company with global clients and reach Enjoy flexibility - working hybrid in KL International Travel - Attend some of the worlds best tech and ecommerce conferences in places like Tokyo, New York, London and Seattle.
