Vacancy: End User Services - Office 365 EngineerLocation: Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaJob Family: ITThe End User Services - Office 365 Engineer will support the End User Services function within the wider End User and Network team. The primary goal of the role is twofold: firstly, to be responsible for operational/level 3 support and administration of JM’s core end user productivity suite, specifically Microsoft 365. Secondly, is to be responsible for the Microsoft productivity and messaging suite services, M365.The End User Services - Office 365 Engineer will also work closely with the architecture teams to support them with designing solutions and the engineer will ultimately be responsible for implementing solutions and supporting projects.Johnson Matthey, an FTSE 250 organisation, is a global leader in sustainable technologies, specialising in catalysis, precious metal products, chemicals and process technology. Support and maintain the core Microsoft 365 suite of services for our end users.
Support and maintain all email infrastructure and services including SMTP.
Assist SecOps with the support of security tools within Microsoft 365 suite of services.
Support and maintain Azure Information Protection and Advanced Threat Protection.
Support and maintain Managed Application Management configuration and policies.
Monitor Microsoft 365 services, review usage and performance reports.
Participate in 3rd line incident troubleshooting and service request fulfilment within SLAs and work with 3rd party vendors to escalate and manage incidents.
As required participate in relevant projects and service improvement workstreams.
Ensure documentation is maintained, kept up to date and knowledge shared with colleagues.
Ability to work flexible working hours to support a global, multi-time zone customer base.

Requirements for the role:

Relevant Microsoft qualifications and ITIL.
Experience supporting Office 365 in a global organisation.
Significant experience supporting email infrastructure.
Significant experience supporting OneDrive.
Knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Azure Information Protection and Advanced Threat Protection.
Exposure and understanding of Microsoft Entra, Conditional Access Policies and data protection standards and compliance.
Experience using PowerShell for scripting.
Knowledge and practical experience of sensitive legal search and hold.
Experience supporting, coaching & mentoring technical team members.
Strong understanding of current industry-standard architecture, platforms, and solutions.
